LightPlay Terms of Service

Effective date: October 18, 2026

These terms govern your use of the LightPlay app for Android and the web version at lightplay.ai (together, "LightPlay"), operated by Browser by Fulldive Co. ("we", "us"). By using LightPlay you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use LightPlay.

1. What LightPlay is

LightPlay helps you find and watch videos, and explore the stories behind them. Most videos are hosted by YouTube and played through YouTube's embedded player; some content is provided by us.

2. Who can use LightPlay

You must be 13 or older to use LightPlay. When you first open the app we ask you to confirm your age and accept these terms. You can use LightPlay without an account. If you sign in with Google, keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for what is done with your LightPlay account. Videos made for children appear in LightPlay for parents and guardians to choose and watch with their children; LightPlay is not meant for children to use on their own.

3. YouTube

LightPlay uses YouTube API Services. By using LightPlay, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Videos played from YouTube remain subject to YouTube's terms and to the rights of their owners. We don't control whether a video stays available on YouTube or can be played in LightPlay.

4. Content

5. Things you make in the app

Some features let you keep moments, react, vote, write a line or create your own version of a scene. These stay on your device. If you sign in, your favorites and watch history are saved to your account, and so is your chat with Lumi (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for what you write. If we later let you share what you make with others, we will update these terms first.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use LightPlay to break the law or anyone's rights; don't try to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape or overload LightPlay or the services it relies on; don't try to get around content restrictions set by us, YouTube or video owners; and don't try to make Lumi produce harmful or illegal content.

7. Availability and changes

LightPlay is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will always be available, error-free or that any particular video will play. We may update these terms; if a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or on lightplay.ai before it takes effect. Continuing to use LightPlay after that means you accept the updated terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of LightPlay, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use LightPlay (currently zero).

9. Ending use

You can stop using LightPlay at any time by uninstalling the app, and you can delete your account at any time as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access to LightPlay, or to an account, if we need to, for example to comply with the law or with YouTube's policies.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of LightPlay will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here removes rights you have under the laws of the place where you live that cannot be waived by agreement.
